Your situation seems to parallel what happened to Matthew McConaughey being stuck in the rom coms back in his earlier days in Hollywood. He weathered the storm and was able to be seen for roles other than rom coms. I truly feel the same thing will happen for you. As a FYI, one of favorite roles by you was in Eureka.
