On top of about a hundred things I could thank you for, I wanted to thank you especially for sharing your challenges with IVF. We went through the same, and some pretty dark days, but our son graduates high school in two months and it's been worth everything it took!

Just wanted to let you know that your channel was some of the best content I have ever watched on Youtube (or other media platforms).

Thank you all for you hard work (can't imagine it was easy) and here's to another 10 years of geek content-making!

And now, onwards to re-watch all of the shows from those first years! :D (really miss the Flog and Tabletop, just fyi)

Honestly, you and your work changed my life so dramatically, I’m so incredibly thankful for you and G&S. I credit you and your team and work with enlightenment in feminism and inclusivity, getting me into tabletop games and D&D, finding like-minded friends for life, embracing my weird and getting on the journey to finding out what my voice can be after mental health issues and having a kid. So happy to celebrate this day and reflect on all it blessed me with!

You have every reason to be proud of what you were able to accomplish. The geek world and the world in general is better, happier and more inclusive for it. I'm proud to be a member of your discord and to share your continuing journey.

Geek and Sundry was actually a turning point for me, with regards to how I viewed entertainment. it wasn't simply waiting for a new episode of a TV show, or buying/watching a movie when it hit the theaters/shelves. I was anticipating new content each day from one source. And of course, that branched into other areas via collaborations and overlapping interest.

The Twitch channel was the biggest change though. Watching and reacting to content in real time was something I didn't know I'd enjoy as much as I do. And it was a network of shows and content, not just a single person. I was planning my days/weeks around when I would see certain people. Telling work I wanted Thursdays off because I wanted to watch a show that was more important to me than they were was ... Ballsy. but worth it. :)

Anyway, I could write a college thesis on how much G&S changed my life, but ultimately Felicia, just know that it has. The people you've introduced me to, people that supported (and still support) me morally and emotionally through weeks of invasive dental surgeries and a Fibromyalgia diagnosis. People that I always tried to be brave for and never wanted to let down, people that made me a better person just by being recognized by... I can never thank you enough for that.

I mean, I can try.

Thank you Felicia. :)

When I found the Guild in season two, I found a small community I never knew I needed. I had been "a geek in self imposed exile" for years hiding my true self mainly due to the lack of people in my life that cared about the same things. The Guild started a wave and G&S turned that wave into something large and surfable (double entendre intended) and it allowed me to find so many people of like mind, so many people that bring me joy, so many people that I never knew I needed. G&S was the main reason that happened. Your vloggers...honestly, with them I found kindred. I can continue to gush about so many aspects of original G&S, but in short just thank you. For all of it.

It was incredibly inspirational as a writer myself to see people like me succeed and thrive as much as you did.

Ah geez, I'm tearing up! I remember watching the slow gathering of the Geek Force (tm) across the interwebs around that time, with The Guild, Wil Wheaton, Bonnie Burton, The Nerdy Bird, Nathan Fillion, Team Unicorn, and others sort of gravitating toward each other across various channels. I got to interact with some of you online, and watch in delight as people about whom I was fangirling started forming the friendships many of you write about today. I can't tell you how full my chest feels.

You have a lot to be proud of; your hard work - and those of your friends - built an incredible community. You (and Wil) were my starting point for positive geekdom, and I can't thank you enough for your reminders to this 50-year-old.

You got me tearing up sitting on the kitchen counter with all my cats yelling at me wanting to be fed. Thanks for being such a positive inspiration to me and so many others.

Loved this post; I could really feel the pressures and the love you put in to the project (and I'm always a sucker for a "how I made X" type of posts).

I am always amused when people talk about their two hundred or three hundred hours of Skyrim. I have over a thousand hours in that game. Oddly enough, I still haven't completed every single thing. More recently, I reached level 50 in Horizon Forbidden West about an hour ago, and have only fifty five percent completion with over one hundred hours. All of which just reinforces my kindergarten teacher's assessment that I completed things too slowly.

Great post. If you want to get out there again with another show let me know, more people of all ages are viewing. After ten years I am still breaking into writing. I have an interesting idea you might like, we could create something down the road.
